Fantasy Manager
is a management sim where you run businesses, recruit colorful characters, and build your empire through charm, coin, and questionable decisions. Inspired by classic adult management games, expanded with male fanservice and a SFW option for those who just want the management aspect.

Highly moddable. Add your own characters, events, items, and more.

What is it?

Fantasy Manager is a management sim where you run multiple businesses in a fantasy setting, recruit colorful characters, and build your empire through charm, coin, and questionable decisions.

You start small—a run-down building, a handful of coins, and more ambition than sense. From there, you hire workers, each with their own skills, quirks, and baggage. Some will become your stars. Others will set things on fire (sometimes literally). You'll upgrade your buildings, juggle resources, and deal with whatever chaos the day throws at you—random encounters, difficult choices, and consequences that sometimes stick around to haunt you.

But the real heart of the game is how easy it is to make it yours. Want to add your favorite character? Drop some images in a folder and edit a simple file. New items, buildings, events, storylines—it's all open. No coding required for basic mods. The game was built to be a canvas.

And because my partner rightfully pointed out that eye candy shouldn't be a one-way street, there's content for all tastes—plus a full SFW mode if you just want to manage a fantasy business without the spice.

Why?

More than 15 years ago I played Whoremaster for quite a while. Not for its polish (it had none), but for something magical: the thrill of discovering new characters. Every folder someone shared was like opening a gacha pull—"Oh, someone made Aeris! And she has 200 images!" The game itself was almost secondary to the community creating content for it. Fantasy Manager is my love letter to that experience. I wanted to build something that captured the joy of modding, the surprise of new characters, the satisfaction of building something yours—but with a proper foundation underneath. I got a bit carried away and included a small questline, and ways to expand on it.

Also, I literally just wanted to play the game... but updated. I'm posting this, and I'm sharing it because I've been lurking in the WM community for long enough, but as happy as I would be with people playing it I honestly wanted to play it myself.

Just to manage expectations, this is not a WM clone, it's hopefully a bit more in some senses, and a bit less in others. But to me, it scratches the same itch. If someone ever enjoys it, that will be great news, and if not... then I'll gladly keep playing on my own.

The AI thing

I did not know how to code. I started with deepseek building most of the script, it got too big, I learned to write my own, I hooked cursor up, and I've done a bit of both coding, and letting Cursor do it. I know to some any and all AI is "slop" but to me this has been a full year of my hobby time to give everyone something for free that I'm openly sharing... so please enjoy it, or make the merciful choice of ignoring it.

I can draw, but I do not want to spend 400+ hours doing porn CGs. There is a part of my art in sketching, image ref, and a Lora with my art in it. However, as I said, the core of this is for people to make their own packs (or re-use the ones they have from WM, they mostly work, and there is an automated converter). Hopefully it can work as motivation to buy some images from other artists! (the original game did encourage me to do so).

I tried to use some free music instead of AI but every page I visited, strictly prohibited using the pieces in nsfw content... so I created the jingle with Suno. You can of course mute it, replace it...

And I did some translations too, but I hope that part doesn't bother anyone.

Current State

I'm starting to near what I would call the 1.0 which is a version of the game that is really "Playable" and just needs more content added to be REALLY enjoyable. For context, WM received SIGNIFICANT updates until 6.0, so you can expect much more to be added (if there's a bit of community behind it) I am focusing on adding a few functionalities, compatible with modding an stories that others might want to create, and I will keep adding to it. I eventually want to "mod my own game" by adding content, more worker with less "mechanic/code-heavy" updates. The game has bugs, but it's not a lot of them right now... Hope you enjoy it!

About the virus warnings, I think I managed to make the game not flag any false positives. The editor is still flagged, if you want, you can opt for the python script, it's the source code of the *.exe file.

See the devlog for latest changes!

 3 thinks

1 the save are not funtion well

2 are you adding more capturable workers like minotaur orc male and female and other races ?

3 how you obtain xp for your character?

by the way love your art and the game is really good  gl my friend

(1 edit)

I am pretty convinced the saves are working, if you have a specific report, please share, but 300+ people in discord are not reporting issues with saves. Unless you are in Android, you might have to load a couple times in that case, and testing wasn't as extensive. Yes I'll be adding more workers, but you might get luckier by downloading mods in discord, they add multiple characters and they are made by users. Characters level up skills by using them and they level up by accumulating successes in multiple skills.

Glad you liked it :)

Two questions on random events!

When there isn't a requirement (like, "Brothel: Ran out of hag potions" or "Adventure Guild: Dragon sighting!!" ) what's the thought on whether things end favorably or not? There's got to be more than "flipping coin to see if it's favorable or not"...or is that it? The other question, if there's a needed requirement and no one has it, it just seems to end, no disappointment or anything, just "no one has the required ability", making things kind of "meh" for the end of the event. Is there a chance you might tweak that, so that the the person is upset no one has whatever the requirement is? I realize that's a personal thing, but the event ending with "no one has the ability" seems off.

Events sometimes use their building skill, which is the Level*10 + Hag potions, Equipment, Ingredients... depending on the building. Sometimes the use the skill of a worker, and sometimes there is a random chance. Some events can't happen if there's no worker with a particular skill, for example, if a master is looking for a proper apprentice, finding no one with enough skill is the disappointment. The events with the masters, however, pop up too frequently, they have been made less frequent, and of course some events could change, but I will need something more specific if you have a suggestion. Also, I'm not sure the comments here is a proper feature request / bug report platform. Please report to the discord, or send me direct messages.

Will the game ever get ported to Android APK?

I am not sure I will ever be capable of it. This is my first game and my knowledge is limited. I will try from time to time. But my attempts have failed, and the game has a lot of text-based screens which I'm not sure will work great in Android.

I will try, and the code is up for anyone to try too :)

I managed :) (I think)

what AI did you use for the images?

(-1)

Stable diffusion is the name of the technology. Hassaku XL (Illustrious) is the name of the checkpoint... There are more components to it, but that would be the main answer :)

(+1)(-1)

thank you oh also any plans on more gay images the one guy with his eyes blacked out has almost nothing and is there any other races we might get to get characters from, like goblins?

(-1)

Guy is just the fallback folder for male workers, but I might do more images. I recently created an orc. There are more male workers planned, but it takes time :)

Is it possible to increase the font size? The letters are almost illegible on the phone.

(3 edits)

It is pretty difficult, I have been increasing the size of many fonts in many screens in the later updates, but that means removing some QOL and UI design for PC. Besides, I have not published or prioritized a phone version, precisely because some "excel file" screens are difficult to present in phone... and Joiplay was unable to make the game work last I read. If you have made it work, I'm sure a lot of people would be interested in knowing how.

But back to your request, if you clarify the "font size" and point to a particular screen or text, I can see if it's possible to increase it for the smallest ones :)

(+1)

I didn't do anything special in joiplay, I left the default plugins and settings and the game started normally, if the problem is closing the game after a while or doing a certain action, I only played a little because of the font size. I probably threw Ram memory at any problem that Joiplay has (it solves a lot of things).

The text I spoke was what is specifically in this frame and similar in the various functions that use it. To be honest, now when I see it on the PC, it's even small on it.

Asking this because it surprised me. Had someone whose combat was 67, full strength, so I figured I would try boss hunting, and she didn't make it. Is boss hunting meant to be so difficult? Same woman had no issues with monster hunter contracts or dungeon diving, even getting critical successes, so was surprised that boss hunting seems to be "don't bother cause you are gonna be dead" each time I've tried it (tried it 5 times, all 5 resulted in the person not surviving the attempt) OR is this just a case of RNG not liking me?

(2 edits)

Boss hunting has a -15 to your skill, that other jobs at the guild do not have. That still means you had 52% to succeed, so you are definitely unlucky. But maybe she did multiple attempts, and was one-shotted in one of them. Try to reach more than 25 HP before sending someone to fight a boss, and use the "daily story limiter" in manage buildings to only do one attempt in that building, that will avoid all death scenarios.

(1 edit)

One question while I think about it, do I need to start anew each time I change options (from Normal to Story, or only women show up, for example) or I include new characters that I've modded in? 9.5.1 seemed to indicate that I would have to start over for changes to take place. No problem if so, just wondering!

Edit to add that things were made a little clearer with 9.5.3, but still want to know about Normal to Story option and about the modded stuff!

(+1)

You do not need to start a new game, it should recalculate things :) . Modded characters should appear... So you can move normal to story or nightmare and back, that is fine. Modded characters should also be fine

Found this by chance, was thinking "this reminds me a lot like Whoremaster, which I enjoy".... then find out why! Really like this game, REALLY love the random encounters and that you seem to update fairly frequently (compared to "once every other month, maybe" or "update SOON!"(tm) which is more like four months away...)

I just have a somewhat bizarre issue, one of the characters died, then was found the next day as I was searching for workers (I had previously recruited him). Odd, but whatever.

Looking forwards to seeing new content, since I absolutely love this!

Hey! I'm actually quite close to updating it again.
Death doesn't exist (yet) in our world. Workers get reset, but they do recycle. I'm still thinking about ways to implement death.
I love that you love it! some people are already creating worker packs etc :D if you want, join the discord some are shared there :)

(1 edit)

Well, I uploaded a TON of Whoremaster girls to here, like...100? But some were "DQ3 mage" type and others were specific girls. LOVE that you were able to implement a WM-FM crossover! (pardon me while I forgot to sleep for awhile because this game is SO FUN!)

Death will be "X has died" but it seems like if a given worker dies they just get recycled (Forian "died", but I was able to recruit him the next day, that rouge!),

Anyway, looking forwards to more stuff, and hoping this game continues to be wondrous! Oh BTW when I update will I have to redo all the mod packs?

No, the workers are pretty stable in terms of code. Most mods should keep working. :)

(1 edit)

Needs a bit of qol, like seeing the task of a worker when selecting in the inventory menu, or being able to set nicknames, not having to click gear twice to move it, etc. Basic systems seem fine. Looking forward to seeing this expanded more.

Thanks for the feedback, except for the nicknames, all options you have suggested have been implemented in the testing version that will be published soon.

(+3)(-2)

will there be futa content?

(1 edit) (+2)(-1)

Futa is in the "system" of the game, it is ready to "house" futa workers using the game's devkits/open code to create them with custom images. But I will create a "model" with those features in time :)

(+1)(-2)

A very interesting and well-made game. The illustrations are very beautiful. I've already made more than one questionable decision hahaha.

(+1)(-1)

this was fun! looking forward to general fixes but it was a solid run. will keep an eye on new updates
